Refund Policy
When and how you can get a refund for a paid postyay plan, how cancelling works, and how our reseller Paddle processes refunds.
In short
- Try postyay on the Free plan first: it costs nothing and needs no card.
- Changed your mind about a paid plan? Ask within 14 days of a payment and you get a full refund, whether it was your first payment, a renewal or an upgrade.
- You can cancel at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you’re never charged again.
- Our reseller Paddle processes every refund, back to the payment method you used.
Money-back guarantee
If you’re not happy with a paid plan, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the date you were charged. This applies to every payment:
- your first payment for a plan, monthly or yearly;
- a renewal, for example if you forgot to cancel before your yearly plan renewed;
- the extra charge when you upgrade to a higher plan.
You don’t need to give a reason. When we refund a payment, we end the plan (or the upgrade) it paid for, and your workspace goes back to the Free plan (or to your previous plan). Your posts, media and connected accounts stay.
After the guarantee period
After 14 days, payments aren’t refunded just because you changed your mind. You can still cancel at any time: you won’t be charged again, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Whenever it happens, you get a refund (in full, or for the unused part of the period) if:
- you were charged twice or by mistake;
- the Service didn’t work as described because of a problem on our side, and we couldn’t fix it within a reasonable time;
- we close your paid account without you having broken our Terms & Conditions;
- the law where you live gives you a right to one.
How to ask for a refund
Use whichever is easier:
- Through Paddle: go to paddle.net, look up your order with the e-mail address you paid with (or follow the link in your receipt e-mail) and request a refund.
- Through us: write to [email protected] from your postyay e-mail address, with the order number from your receipt if you have it. We’ll ask Paddle to refund you.
What counts is when you ask: a request made within 14 days of the payment qualifies, even if it’s processed later.
How refunds are processed
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so Paddle issues every refund.
- The refund goes back to the payment method you used, in the currency you paid in, including the tax you were charged.
- Paddle usually processes an approved refund within a few business days. How long it takes to show on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
- If you bought as a business and were charged VAT or sales tax that your tax ID should have removed, Paddle can refund the tax if you send it your tax ID within 60 days of the payment (see the Paddle Buyer Terms).
- Paddle may refuse a refund where there’s evidence of fraud or refund abuse, as its buyer terms allow.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing, at paddle.net, or by writing to [email protected]. Cancelling on its own isn’t a refund: it stops the next renewal, you keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then your workspace moves to the Free plan. If you also want your last payment back and you’re within 14 days of it, ask for a refund as described above.
Deleting your postyay account cancels your subscription straight away. If you want your last payment refunded, ask before you delete your account, or write to us afterwards from the same e-mail address.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights that consumer law gives you where you live.
If you live in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. For a digital service that starts straight away, that right can end once you start using it. Our 14-day guarantee applies whether or not you’ve used your plan, so within that time you can always get your money back.
If you live in Türkiye, your rights under the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are reserved. Wherever you live, if the law gives you more (for example, a longer period), you get more.
Before you dispute a charge
If something on your statement looks wrong, please write to us or to Paddle first: we can usually sort it out faster than a chargeback. Disputes opened with your bank are handled by Paddle.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. A change never makes the terms worse for a payment you made before it.
